– About Rachel
Rachel grew up in Gippsland and after finishing high school at Drouin Secondary College in 2016, Rachel began her double Bachelor of Laws and Criminology at Deakin University. Rachel is very passionate about the law and completed her double degree in July 2022.
Rachel joined Wakefield Vogrig & Boote in 2021 and whilst completing her degree was a part of our strong conveyancing team assisting clients with sale and purchase transactions. Rachel completed her traineeship at our firm in 2022 and 2023 with a special interest in Commercial Law and Litigation. Rachel was admitted as Lawyer in September 2023.
Rachel takes pride in being someone that her colleagues and clients can rely on and aspires to continue that in her career.
Rachel can assist in the following areas:-
- Sale and purchase of businesses, including franchises and shares;
- Obtaining complex Stamp Duty exemptions including for property transfers involving Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, discretionary trusts and family farms;
- Drafting shareholders agreements, family and units trusts;
- Advising on business structures and asset protection;
- Reviewing a range of contractual agreements including in commercial and employment law;
- Compiling and lodging adverse possession claims over land; and
- General litigation.
